FG Launches TVET Programme, to Pay N22,500 Monthly to Trainees Abuja, Nigeria – 2nd June 2025 The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially launched a new Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme aimed at empowering Nigerian youths with industry-relevant skills while offering them monthly financial support during their training. The initiative, which falls under the Federal Ministry of Education’s TVET Expansion Strategy, is designed to provide short-term, hands-on training in key vocational sectors such as leatherwork, fashion design, electrical installation, ICT, agriculture, welding, carpentry, and more.
